Biotopika

Biotopika is a multidisciplinary project exploring the past, present, and possible futures of the Schiavetti wetland. Through public dialogue, investigative journalism, and an audiovisual installation, it weaves archival research, environmental data, and community voices into a shared reflection on ecological transformation and long-term stewardship.

Wetland Designers

Wetland Designers is a participatory art–science project in which students and local communities co-designed 10 hectares of new wetland near the Foce dell’Isonzo Nature Reserve. Using a machine learning workflow, drawings were transformed into realistic ecological scenarios, directly informing the restoration process and turning environmental regeneration into a shared cultural act.

RISORGIVA - Endangered Ecosystems

RISORGIVA is an interdisciplinary art–science project that investigates the progressive disappearance of wetlands as emblematic ecosystems of the climate crisis. The project combines scientific research, field recordings, thermal imaging, data sonification, and audiovisual installations to translate hydrological and ecological processes into immersive sensory experiences. Through 3 days of participatory laboratories inside a wetland and a public exhibition presented at the Festival dell'Acqua di Staranzano, RISORGIVA engages students and local communities in exploring wetland dynamics, biodiversity loss, and water management challenges. By merging environmental data with artistic languages, the project reframes wetlands not only as ecological infrastructures but as cultural and relational spaces, fostering awareness, emotional resonance, and collective responsibility toward fragile territories.

Delta T

DELTA T is an experiential art–science project that explores temperature as an invisible but decisive force shaping ecosystems. Using infrared thermal cameras, participants visualize heat exchanges between bodies, materials, water, and air, revealing microclimatic differences that usually escape human perception.
